Trail runners, you completely blew us away — the Summer Trail Series has officially hit its initial registration cap!

If you missed out, DO NOT PANIC. We have opened a waitlist, and we need your help right now to unlock the next wave of spots.

Here is the deal: To protect the runner experience and keep park access smooth for everyday users, we cannot take up all the trailhead parking at Castlewood State Park. Once we grow past 150 participants, we have to implement a shuttle system.

We think this is an amazing problem to have! However, to make paying for a driver and shuttle service financially feasible, we need at least 30 more series registrations on the waitlist.

Your move right now is simple:

150 years of Forest Park + 50+ years of the Pace Series = The ultimate Wednesday night!

Tomorrow, June 24, our incredible home turf of Forest Park is celebrating its 150th Anniversary, and we are honoring it the best way we know how: hitting the pavement for Week 3 of the Pace Series!

Last week we had a massive turnout of 48 runners and walkers. Tomorrow, let's blow past that number to celebrate the park's big birthday! We’re tackling a classic 5K route starting on Grand Drive, just east of Cricket Field.

Ditch the smartwatch, bring a single dollar bill, and come run through history with us. If you haven't joined us yet, it's not too late to be a part of the series! We drop the lowest four runs from, so you can still come and be eligible for an award. But even if you can only make a few runs this summer, we'd love to have you (and we'll still invite you to the party at the end!). We're a family-friendly community that supports all paces and abilities, and it's a fun challenge and a great social run. We hope to see you tomorrow!
