It’s an honor to contract with City Block STL!

Happy Monday! As we have gotten to know each of our teammates the last few weeks, this week we are featuring City Block’s Creative Consultant, Colleen Bunten.

Q: What do you love most about your job?
A: My favorite thing about being a Creative Consultant is coming up with content ideas and concepts for the partners I work with. I love the challenge of putting someone’s thoughts into words, making it interesting and telling a story. As a writer, I get so excited starting with a small idea and turning it into something bigger, something more impactful and special in order to connect and resonate with others.

Q: What is your favorite hobby or pastime?
A: I am a singer/songwriter, so you can usually find me doing one or the other if I am not working. Music is my passion, and I have centered my life around it. Oh… I also love to drink wine.

Q: What is a favorite book you've read recently?
A: I recently read Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, and it was so inspiring! I highly recommend it to fellow creatives.

Q: Is there a charity or nonprofit you're inspired by?
A: This Is My Brave, Inc. is an incredible organization that gives a platform to those who live with mental and emotional illness to tell their story through performing arts. Fighting the stigma against these invisible illnesses is a cause near and dear to my heart.

Q: What is your goal for 2020? (work or personal?)
A: My goals for 2020 are to continue growing Colleen Creative (my little consulting company) and also release my EP with five of my original songs.
