Each image curated to reflect stillness, tension, and truth. Founder-Elysian Gallery

I’m excited to share something that feels like a real milestone for me as an artist. This weekend I’ll be in Palestine, Texas for the 88th Dogwood Art Festival — my first regional art show.

It’s been a wild few years of growing, learning, and pushing myself, and stepping into regional shows feels like the next chapter. I’m grateful for everyone who’s supported my work, visited the gallery, encouraged me, or just believed in what I’m building.

While I’m on the road, Janel will be running Elysian Gallery and keeping everything flowing back home.

Here’s to new steps, new places, and seeing where this path leads.

New work alert — all 26 pieces of it.

I’ve already shared a few of these over the past couple weeks, but let’s be honest… instead of trying to remember which ones I posted and which ones I didn’t, it was way easier to just select the entire folder and call it a day.

If you know me, you know I’m terrible at talking about my own work — classic artist move — so I’ll let the images speak for themselves. What I can say is that this new collection spans everything from quiet moments to dramatic encounters, and I’m excited (and slightly terrified) to finally share them all.

All 26 pieces are now live in my online gallery at https://bohnertphotography.mypixieset.com, and most of them are currently hanging at Elysian Gallery if you want to see them in person.

Thanks for following along, supporting my work, and letting me keep doing what I love. Hope you enjoy this new batch as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes, and a whole wave of new images has been taking shape — more than I’ve shared here so far.
Wildlife, color, texture, light… each one stopped me in my tracks for a different reason. I’m still sitting with them, letting the right titles come in their own time, but the work itself is ready for a first look.
Here’s a small preview of what’s coming to the gallery and a very large exhibit I'll have in the City of O'Fallon, MO City Hall and the Krekel Civic Center in O'Fallon, MO, totaling about 40 pieces

More soon.
