Feeling nostalgic for the Whitaker Urban Evening Series I helped produce with Grace Hill and Carlton | Werremeyer for seven years in St. Louis Place Park. We brought in amazing local bands like Erin Bode, Javier Mendoza, Groovethang, Saint Louis Missouri, Charles Glenn, Boogie Chyld, Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats with amazing AV from Ironman Sound Industries, fun kids activities with Circus Kaput and lovely partners like Crown Candy Kitchen, St. Louis American, KMOX News, Jazz St. Louis, Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, and more for six weeks each summer. I still remember the joy and energy of thousands gathered in community each week.
