May has been crazy hectic, which is why we’re 17 days into the month before I’m finally posting about this month’s scent 😂
BLUE MOON 🌕 gets its name from the super cool astrological phenomenon that is happening in May! There are two types of blue moons by definition; one is seasonal, and the other is monthly. Monthly blue moons occur when there are two full moons in one calendar month. We had a full moon on May 1st, and we will have a second full moon—a Blue Moon— on May 31st 💫
Neither type of blue moon are regular occurrences; they happen roughly every 2-3 years and even more rarely will they occur in the same calendar year! The next monthly blue moon won’t be until 12/21/28 😱
Blue Moon is a complex blend of deep, earthy scents like cedarwood and vetiver, light floral mid-tones, and a bright mix of citrus. It’s a scent that I named after creating it; one where I let the candle do the talking. And it’s just as fresh and cool as a Blue Moon 🙂↕️
