With big dance numbers, even bigger hair, and a cast that collectively stole the show, Hairspray was the perfect high-energy start to The Muny’s 108th season. It sparked one of the fastest standing ovations we’ve ever witnessed! 💃

There’s something so special—and so uniquely St. Louis—about spending a summer night watching stars beneath the stars, and seeing Richard Kind (Only Murders in the Building, Spin City) take the stage as Edna Turnblad made opening night all the more memorable. 🌟
