I was nearly giddy with what I found at the international market! Le petit déjeuner (the little lunch, meaning breakfast,) greeted my kids with medium boiled quail eggs this morning, their favorite when we lived in Belgium. I had toast smeared with my very favorite butter from Normandie. I bought the butter dishes in Belgium 🇧🇪 😊.

Boards with a few additional apps... Grilled margarita prawns, chicken satay with a sauce of chewy coconut, chilies and peanuts. Mini pretzel rolls stuffed with shaved ham, havarti and sweet onion chutney. Mushroom goat cheese ball, rolled in seeds and edible flowers, spicy hazelnut brittle, salmon roulade... just to name a few.
