2/22/2026: CURRENTLY- light flurries are starting to fall at our base location in Spruce Pine.
🚨Spruce Pine is experiencing cold temperatures and periods of steady rain, which may lead to slick roads and reduced visibility. Please use caution while traveling, allow extra time to reach your destination, and watch for standing water in low-lying areas.
• Slow down and increase following distance
• Avoid flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Check on elderly neighbors and those with limited mobility
• Keep phones charged and emergency supplies ready
