There's no shortage of abandoned and derelict vessels (ADVs), but there are people actively working to fix this.
Our 2026 Turning the Tide Summit will bring everyone together in New Orleans, Dec. 6-9, for four days of real solutions, real partnerships, and real progress to proactive address ADVs. If this work matters to you, this is where you need to be. Find registration info here: http://spr.ly/6183BEKqvP

We’re excited to launch the first digital locker site for the BoatUS Foundation’s nationwide Life Jacket Loaner Pilot Program.
Now live at Sandy Point State Park, our new life jacket digital locker makes borrowing a life jacket quick and convenient through an easy digital checkout process. This marks the first location in our pilot, with additional sites coming soon!

It starts with one! 🌊
This week our team joined the 📍 Carolina Coastal Federation to remove four abandoned boats From Sneads Ferry! That means real vessels pulled from real waterways by local organizations who are showing what it looks like to take action. Thank you to everyone who teamed up to make this effort possible!
The operation is part of a BoatUS Foundation-funded national initiative to remove hundreds of ADVs from coastal waterways, supported by the NOAA Marine Debris
