May is almost over, but severe weather is not.
Late May can still bring tornadoes, damaging winds, flooding, hail, and early-season heat. And with hurricane season officially beginning June 1, now is the right time to review your weather safety plan.
A few things to check before the next warning:
✅ Do you have multiple ways to receive alerts?
✅ Does everyone in your household know where to go during a tornado warning?
✅ Are you prepared for flooding, power outages, and dangerous heat?
✅ Do your travel or summer plans change how you receive weather information?
Preparedness does not have to be complicated, but it does need to happen before storms arrive.
