WildPlate — “Where flavors roam free.” Is opening this month at PublicHouse!

For years, I’ve been cooking from instinct, pulling from memories, from where I came from, and from everything I’ve experienced along the way. From growing up in the Philippines to building a life here… to traveling and learning through food in places I never imagined I’d be.
Somewhere along the way, all of those flavors started to come together. Not in a perfect or traditional way but in a way that feels honest to me.
That’s what WildPlate is. It’s a blend of everything I’ve tasted, learned, and loved over the years. A lot of Southeast Asian influence and a little bit of “let’s see what happens if I do this” 😅
I told myself I was going to slow down. Take a breath. Maybe rest a little. Clearly that didn’t last very long 😅 This opportunity came from people I’ve worked with for over a decade, people who’ve seen me from the very beginning and somehow still believe in me and my work all these years later.

Moi Poki will remain in its own space,
and WildPlate will be out back in a food truck, which is kind of ironic
because that’s exactly where all of this started. Full circle, just with a little more experience (and maybe a few more scars 😄)

✨ Soft opening will be just after Chef’s Night Out.
And this Monday, April 6th, we’ll both be there, Moi Poki and WildPlate, each sharing a couple of our dishes.
If you come by, you’ll get a small glimpse of what this next chapter looks like.
