George and Steve may get a slot on the radio in the morning. Last year Sam asked if we could bring guitars and play something. We have access to guitars and will try to get some air time (maybe a verse). Post a song (verse) in the comments that you'd like us to play. Maybe a Christmas tune as we're in the Advent Season!

We had a great time this morning playing Concordia Village in Springfield! God is good!

The Washington Street Mission received more than a laundry cart full of non-perishable food items from the event. We are ready for tomorrow night (August 6th) at The Railyard - Springfield, IL at 6 p.m. Please bring non-perishable food items and/or canned goods to stock the food pantry at the Washington Street Mission. Come on out and support both the Railyard and the Mission!

We received a great thank you card from the Arc at Sangamon Valley! We have played there twice, and each time was great. The staff and residents made us feel right at home!

The Washington Street Mission will never be the same after Saturday morning service tomorrow! We are set to play at 8:30 a.m. We had to get a photo after rehearsing this afternoon at Washington Park (Springfield, Illinois))

Thanks to “Cookie” for providing a new grill! The old electrical box will get retired for now. Looking into some Spring gigs. Gonna contact Devonshire Ampitheater in Decatur. If we can’t play there, we’ll shoot for the Rock n Roll stage at the Hardee’s on Stephenson! Either way we’ll get to use the grill!

We did our Christmas show at Mary Bryant Home For the Blind and Visually Impaired this afternoon and had to hit McDonald's for a little nourishment before our first public gig in a long time. We will be playing at Washington Street Mission at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 19th! Come on out and see us as we spread a little Christmas cheer!
