A prayer for centers.
Father of Intercession,
For those You place in the stories of women and men uncertain in
the gift of pregnancy, we ask that You uphold them. Use them as
instruments of Your grace, employing their service to guard hearts
and expand Your kingdom.
Make them faithful as You are faithful. Cause them to love sacrificially
with the love with which You loved them first. Give them wisdom
and courage and fill them with Your Spirit. Help them to intercede
on behalf of these image-bearers, knowing that Jesus intercedes
for them.
Uphold them as they struggle to hope. Help them to grieve in a way
that honors You. Fill them with the assurance of a day when their
work will be unnecessary. Hold their hearts and make our prayers
effective through them for Your kingdom in our community.
Without Your action on behalf of Your people, we would be lost.
Father, trust Your Son’s intercession for us. Amen.
