The place where we socialize, find solitude, relax and make memories. Living rooms are often a reflection of the people who use them. Therapy doesn't have to feel like a job interview. No need to have the 'right' answers, a polished backstory, or a clear goal walking in. You're allowed to show up messy, unsure, or even a little guarded, that's not a bad start, that's just a start. Our therapists meet you where you are, not where you think you're supposed to be.

Ready to just... show up as you are? Book a consultation with us:

Congrats Emilia!

We are excited to announce that Emilia Stauffer, MSW, LMSW, has been promoted to Program Director at The GLO Center, beginning July 1, 2026.

Since joining GLO in September 2024 as the Community Services Specialist, Emilia has played a critical role in expanding GLO's programs. Emilia has expanded our direct services, created our resource navigation and case management program, strengthened our Crisis Cold Weather Shelter, developed community partnerships, and helped ensure LGBTQ+ individuals and families across southwest Missouri have access to the resources and support they need.

Emilia brings a combination of social work expertise, community-building experience, and a deep commitment to equity and belonging to the team at GLO. Whether she is helping a client navigate a difficult situation, building new programs, mentoring students, or collaborating with community partners, she consistently approaches the work with compassion and a focus on solutions.

As Program Director, Emilia will oversee The GLO Center's community support services, support the continued growth of our team, and help guide the development of new initiatives that expand our impact throughout the region. She will continue to provide case management and resource navigation services while taking on broader responsibility for program strategy, implementation, and evaluation.

The past few years have been a period of tremendous growth for The GLO Center. As our programs, partnerships, and community reach continue to expand, strong leadership has never been more important. Emilia has already demonstrated the vision, dedication, and skill necessary to help lead this next chapter.

Please join us in congratulating Emilia Stauffer!
