Color has a way of changing our mood.

Some flowers whisper.
Others refuse to be ignored.

I found these Pride of Maderia blooming above the Pacific, with the ocean stretching behind them, and couldn't decide where to look first.

Sometimes life gives us these unexpected combinations that somehow work perfectly together.

Bold color.
Quiet waves.
Fresh ocean air.

If you could bring one into your home today...
🌊 an ocean view
or
🌸 a garden full of flowers?

One of the greatest compliments I can receive is when someone tells me they chose a photograph because it makes them feel something.

When this collector selected Tranquility for her daughter's room, she shared that she wanted a photograph you could "step right into."

Her daughter immediately fell in love with the soft pinks in the sky, and together they chose a scene that felt peaceful, welcoming, and full of possibility.

I love imagining this image becoming part of her everyday world—a place to dream, read, rest, and simply be.

That's one of the things I love most about art. The same photograph can mean something completely different to every person who brings it home.

What draws you into a landscape photograph most: the colors, the feeling, the memory, or the place itself?

✨ Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with me.

Sometimes sanctuary isn't a place.

It's a moment.

A place where the noise quiets, the pace slows, and we're reminded that God has been present all along.

I captured this scene at Costa Rica's Tabacón Hot Springs just after sunrise. Water flowed, steam danced through the air, and sunlight filtered through the rainforest canopy. Nothing was still, yet everything felt peaceful.

I've found that some of life's most restorative moments aren't the ones where everything stops—they're the ones where we become fully present to what is already happening around us.

"Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love." — St. Thérèse of Lisieux

That's what this image reminds me of every time I see it.
