Okay friends,

These are the facts and I don’t know if they are related.

On Saturday, June 27, 2026 around 5:30pm, I was at Elizabeth Park and I heard a boy screaming for help. I asked other people in the park where it was coming from and they pointed up the walking trail between Elizabeth Park and Prospect Ave. I went looking and didn’t find anyone or hear anything further and I called 911 to make a report.

On Monday, June 29th,
After going back to Elizabeth Park to investigate and see if I heard anything or see anyone I discovered fresh soil on the walking path where the screams were heard from. Elizabeth Rose garden gardeners mentioned they were working on that path but there was nothing planted.
I went to Hartford police to speak to them and follow up and the police officers never filed any report regarding the incident.

On Saturday, July 11th,
I went back to Elizabeth Park to spend time walking and enjoying my time with the geese and flowers. I went back to my car in which it was parked in the main parking lot near the visitor center. It appears someone went into my car without force of entry.

Today, July 14,
After returning home after running errands I noticed again someone was in my apartment. Some how they are bypassing my camera system. My curtain that divides both rooms was pulled off the wall.

The reason why I have decided to go public about these incidents because so far the police department has failed me every single time. In their exact words if you don’t have proof we are sorry we cannot assist you.

If anyone has any information regarding myself and anyone who might be involved I’m encouraging you to do the right thing and live by your truth and tell the police. It’s when we work together we can help protect each other.

Additionally, I have been followed by multiple people. If you see me out in the community please pay attention and again if you see someone or something be courageous and strong to stand up and say something! Be safe, y’all! ✌🏻

I’m having a different time understanding how the police in our communities actually work. Every day I see them posting things on social media along side with the news media. They report people only who have died or sting operations they conducted privately and the arrests they have made.

I see a lot of the police posting pictures joining community events and volunteering. Here and there you will see a police officer who just happened to be in the area when something was happening & now they are a hero.

I’m just curious to know if the local police have become organized with crime. Because any other time I go to the police about a problem or someone else I know they never actually do anything. You be lucky you even speak to someone. So my friends, I’m just curious what their actual role is here in our society?

Can someone explain?
