After a few too many days where I feel I could have recreated this photo, I decided to see how long I could go without buying anything online.
Today is one month.
I paid off a small student loan 4 years early.
And while ads have seemingly taken over everything online, I swear its gotten SO MUCH WORSE this week.
I will scroll yahoo news, and it's like, every 10th link is an add, generally. Today it was 27 IN A ROW.

Somewhere there is an algorithm short circuiting. "Will ANYTHING make her 'buy now'? just one click...please..."
(don't correct me on how it works. I don't care. Just appreciate the mental image of my own personal internet bot throwing things in front of me while I try to carry on about my day.)
