It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Salle, a cherished member of the Hugh Gassner Fire Company for over 50 years. Warren was not just a dedicated firefighter; he served as a commissioner for over 20 years, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
His wisdom and advice were treasured, and every conversation with him felt meaningful. He had a remarkable ability to listen, making everyone feel valued and understood.Warren was a hardworking family man who dedicated his life to serving others, both in his role at the firehouse and at home. He was a devoted husband, loving father to two children, and an adoring grandfather to his two grandchildren.
As he approached retirement at the end of this year, he looked forward to embracing full-time grandpa duties—spending time outdoors, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with those he loved most.Warren often spoke about his grandchildren with such pride and joy; they were his world. His love for them was evident in every conversation, and it warmed our hearts to see how deeply he cherished those moments.As we mourn the loss of such an incredible man, let us remember the kindness he showed to everyone around him.
