When their stream wouldn’t work this morning, they called JCJ Productions to stream their outdoor mass. Call came in at 9am, we were on-site by 10am, and we’re streaming by 10:55am.

4 Cameras, Seamless Switching, and lower thirds, proper audio sync. All in a days work.

We spent yesterday upgrading the existing video streaming system at The Immaculata.

The original system was set up for the choir loft to monitor the mass as their view was blocked from the organ pipes. During the pandemic they started to utilize it more and more while live streaming, only to realize the existing hardware was limited to switching cameras with hard cuts and drop out of audio. It was not ideal.

After a quick in-person consultation with JCJ Productions they now have the ability to do seamless video mixing, their audio is clean and constant throughout the entire mass, additional options to connect more cameras and the option to add lower thirds for graphics is now easy available. We even reconfigured their Organ microphones so that they would only appear in the live stream and not in the sound system of the church itself.

It was a great solution to enhance their broadcast and at a great rate.
