We have lots of fun new colors of Round Mountain Fibers Alder Fi*****ng! We’re lucky enough to be one of only 50 shops that carry Round Mountain Fibers, and these stunning colorways are inspired by birds, insects, plants, mammals, and underwater creatures.

Alder Fi*****ng is a fingering-weight blend of superwash merino and nylon, making it a great choice for socks, shawls, fine-gauge sweaters, hats, and other lightweight projects.

The newest yarn from Cascade, Suri Seda, is an incredibly soft and fluffy blend of baby suri alpaca and silk. If you love the beautiful halo of mohair and silk blends but find mohair a little too itchy, this is a wonderful alternative. The baby suri alpaca creates a soft, cloud-like halo with a subtle silk sheen that's gentle enough to wear next to your skin.

Use Suri Seda in place of mohair and silk in your favorite patterns to add warmth, softness, and a gorgeous fuzzy halo. Knit it on its own for ethereal shawls, scarves, and wraps, or hold it together with another yarn to give sweaters and accessories an extra touch of softness without adding much weight.

One of our favorite things about Suri Seda is the generous put-up. Most mohair and silk yarns come in 25 gram balls, Suri Seda comes in a 50 gram skein with an impressive 459 yards. That means more yardage, fewer joins, and an excellent value!
