LifeCenter Northwest

LifeCenter's Community Outreach team had a wonderful time connecting with all of you at this weekend. Joining us was Stacy, an active LifeCenter Northwest volunteer, who is also a liver and kidney recipient. She just got back from the Transplant Games (check out the posts below to see Team Northwest!) where she medaled in many different sports and even took home gold in basketball. Out team of volunteers and staff are as diverse as our donation community, and we love being able to represent the positive impact of organ, eye, & tissue donation wherever we go!

For 33 years, the Transplant Games have united a nationwide community connected by the gift of life. This week in Denver, Team Northwest competed in several events, including Basketball, Pickleball and Swimming. Way to go Team Northwest!

Organ, eye, and tissue recipients come together with living donors, donor families, patients awaiting transplant, and health professionals in the donation and transplant community. Alongside caregivers, supporters, and fans, the Transplant Games celebrates life, honors donation, and inspires hope for those still waiting. More than just an athletic competition, the Transplant Games are a six-day celebration of resilience, gratitude, and the lifesaving impact of organ donation.
