Here’s the deal.

If you get a flag, so do I.

The difference is that THIS flag represents the reason you get to have your flag, and wave it with pride.

THIS flag, incorporates your beliefs, and mine all in one. I am proud to wave THIS flag. I am proud to stand for freedom, inclusivity, and equality.

I am proud to be an American.

This country may not be perfect all the time. But THIS flag and the ideas, morals, truths that it symbolizes is something beyond perfection.

THIS flag is the only one I need. And in my opinion, the only flag anybody in this country needs.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for ALL.
