i’m becoming a pilot in my free time.

at 9 years old, i saw something i would never forget. my dad had ordered a VHS tape from the Brownsville Revival. sitting in the basement of my childhood home in Seattle, i watched John Kilpatrick and Steve Hill preach like the world was on fire. i watched thousands of young people run to the altar to encounter God. i saw people hungry for God in ways i didn’t know was possible. at 9 years old, i whispered a small prayer… God, if you could ever use me like that, i’d give you the rest of life. 30 years later, i got to visit Brownsville Assembly of God, spend time praying in that sanctuary, thanking God for the lives of men whom this world was not worthy of, and asking God to do it one more time. 30 years later, i’m still just a kid who believes that what God did for them, He will do for us. if it’s revival or we die, i choose revival.
