Happy 250th Birthday, America!
There’s nothing quite like fireworks lighting up the DC sky above the Lincoln Memorial toward the Capitol. I remember that night in 2002 was pure Americana— patriotic music filling the air, unity, stars and stripes everywhere. Still chasing those unforgettable Washington vibes and dreaming about being in Washington DC for the 4th of July for the 250-year celebration.

Thinking about the 4th of July next Saturday, I remember our trip to Washington DC for the first 4th of July after 9-11. How everyone felt so Patriotic and proud to be an American. Before the fireworks at the National Mall, you could hear traditional American patriotic songs. The fireworks were spectacular. Now I'm dreaming about being in Washington DC for the 4th of July. I remember the wonderful road trips driving 101 from LA through Santa Barbara and taking California 1 to San Francisco. 😎 Rosewood Miramar Beach just made my wish list.
