Hi, I’m Kathryne — the planner behind Grace And Virtue Events!

I started Grace And Virtue Events because I truly love planning meaningful celebrations and supporting clients through one of the most important seasons of their lives. I have a natural passion for logistics, timelines, and details, paired with a love for creativity, thoughtful design and overall experience. Planning has always come naturally to me, and I find purpose in bringing every moving piece together with care and intention.

I know wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times. My role is to support you through a structured planning journey and guide you step by step, from our very first conversation through your celebration itself. From vendor coordination to timelines and logistics, I’m always thinking ahead so you can feel calm, confident, and supported throughout the planning process.

What matters most to me is that you’re able to be fully present during your celebration — enjoying meaningful moments with your family and friends while I manage everything behind the scenes.

At the start of September, our client proposed at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, VA. After offering a few location suggestions, the client chose this stunning venue, which they had been planning to visit all summer.

We reserved the Stone Ledge for the proposal and a pergola to enjoy wine and charcuterie afterwards. Family and friends arrived to witness the proposal from inside, surprising the couple with their presence shortly after the proposal and a champagne toast.

Charles from Carrington Visuals beautifully captured photos of this proposal, and you’d never guess it was raining most of the time!

One of the greatest joys in my work is helping to create unforgettable moments at surprise proposals.

In July, our client proposed in Alexandria, VA near the Waterfront, complete with a romantic picnic setup. The client requested sunrise orchids for the bouquet, donuts and a violinist to set the perfect mood. In an especially important touch to the proposal, the Chelle learned "Junoon" by Mitraz, a special Indian song for the couple, in less than two weeks. The music made such an impact that she played it multiple times for the couple!

We can't wait for Chelle from Music by Anthem to do a cover recording of this song! Katie from Katie Lingan Photography was amazing to work with and true to her company name by creatively capturing these photos on a bright and sunny morning.
