Spring Bloom Dinner at Chehalem 🌿 On Thursday, guests joined Winemaker Katie Santora and Chef Brent Spangler for a seasonal dinner centered around spring ingredients, thoughtful pairings, and shared conversation at the table.

These dinners are one of our favorite ways to slow down and connect guests more closely to the wines, the people behind them, and the season unfolding around us.

Blending trials are underway at Chehalem for Corral Creek Vineyard.

Over the next two weeks, Winemaker Katie Santora and Associate Winemaker Jess Spera will taste through different lots, blocks, and expressions as the wines slowly come together piece by piece.

It’s one of our favorite parts of the winemaking process, and we can’t wait to share this vintage with you.

Sun, rain, then sun again...and everything wakes up at Chehalem Estate.

May is Oregon Wine Month, a time to celebrate the people, vineyards, and stewardship that make Oregon wine so distinctive. In the Willamette Valley, great wine starts long before harvest. It starts in the vineyard. In late fall, we seed our cover crop with intention. Red clover helps return nitrogen to the earth, while flowering rows support pollinators and beneficial insects throughout the vineyard.

Soon it’ll be worked back into the soil to support the next vintage. But right now, the vineyard gets its spring glow-up.

Bud break has arrived across all of our estate vineyards at Chehalem. 🌱🌦️ A new vintage is officially underway.
