A message from one of our fosters! This kitty is blessed to be alive!!

"I was driving down 16th Ave getting ready to get in the left hand turn lane when I saw something scurrying across the road up ahead, something I couldn't quite make out what it was. I started to think it must have been my imagination or a piece of paper. I continued on and was waiting in the left hand turn lane.

There was a YVC student on the sidewalk looking intently where I thought this thing was and he was crouching down, looking under this car that was 2 cars in front of me. I rolled my window down and said "What!"

He said he saw a kitty run and it's under this first car but he couldn't see it anymore. I yelled back "I bet it crawled up into the engine!" Right then, the left turn light turned green, and this car with the kitten underneath took off - fast. I raced after it and about a half mile down this kitten drops out from under the car and lands in the middle lane on Nob Hill!

As a rescuer, I don't care if I stop traffic and I did! Lol. Got out, grabbed this kitty, ran back to my car and needless to say, errands didn't get done today, but a kitty was saved so that's a win!!"

Poor little kitty went through a lot and is now decompressing and sleeping after eating almost a whole can of Fancy Feast.
