Fall in Sedona *chef’s kiss*

Most people think of September and early October as the months to see the changing colors of fall leaves 🍁

For Sedona, they start barely turning the very end of October and kick up leading into November. Usually the second week is the sweet spot. Temperatures are cooler, and spots like Crescent Moon Ranch and West Fork are bathed in golds, oranges and the occasional red pop.

An ode to the magic of black and white

There is no denying I am a color connoisseur- vibrant and true to life with depth is my go to… but man I love a good black and white. The way it highlights emotion, textures and contrast tells a story with a different feel.

When I edit a gallery there are always quite a few black and whites pulled in. But don’t worry- I always include the color version too since so many of my couples are as drawn to the colors around us as I am 😉

These pics up Cathedral Rock are from one of my all time favorite engagement sessions with two absolute gems of humans. We laughed so hard and had so much fun my face hurt. Bonding over dark humor and life stories- although I still need to read Dungeon Crawler Carl (it’s on my tbr), I still grin thinking about how much fun I had.
