There was a time when all three of dogs were eating different diets because they each had their own little sensitivities. Mealtime was .. a lot different scoops and bags of food to deal with. When I finally found a prescription kibble that all three did really well on, I didn’t want to change that foundation again. Instead, I started using fresh toppers to gradually see what else they could tolerate. Overtime, I introduced more proteins and veggies, and as they ate a wider variety of fresh foods, I noticed big improvements in their food tolerances and poops!

So today, I still use that prescription kibble as the foundation for their diet, with fresh toppers for variety. That’s what works for us and it’s a routine I know I can stick with.

It’s also the reason I started The Topper Club. I wanted to make it easy for more dog owners to add fresh variety week after week.

Sunday = in recovery mode 😴 The market and people were amazing…and now I want to disappear.

When I’m at the market, I’m genuinely so excited to meet all the people who are interested in my products! It’s so cool that the food I make gets a spot in beloved pet’s bowls.

That’s why in the 24 hours before and after the market, I stop talking to anyone so I can save all the energy for the 5 hours at the market 😆😆 who else does this?

Another week, another experiment 👀

These two containers both hold the exact same amount, but which one would you buy?

At farmers markets, about 60% of customers buy Small and 40% buy the Regular size. Online, it’s almost the opposite—only 20% buy the Small, while 80% choose Regular or Large.

Now, I know shopping at a farmers market is different because people are discovering a new product, but I’m curious whether a more perceivable size difference might move the needle.

What do you think? Would the container influence your decision?

Ah yes, just subtracting reality

Some market days be like this, but meeting new customers who become familiar faces come makes all the math worth it.

Anyway, if you’re in Seattle, we make freshly cooked whole-ingredient toppers to bring more variety to your dog’s everyday meals.

Not me making this into an art account 😭 JK! Toppers are still around! In fact, buying toppers is technically supporting the arts 🎨

Every topper order = one more pet portraits I can justify drawing :D
