We just love the window designed by talented local artist and dear friend of the store he included original works and some of the treasures that he’s picked up at the store over the years. We love that we are able to provide inspiration for people to make their world a little more whimsical. It’s up until the end of the month so stop by and check it out!

Moda DeCoy is like an object entering the room - an interior design, queen chess piece and phantom urge - here to enact the many disguises of Gaud as Diva. She is imbued by the bootleg muse of a former familiar, Mona Real; who, once put to work, is now put to rest. To be crowned Pillow Princess, her last words embroidered were “I’d rather be shopping” and so she shall . . .

Sourcing discarded vintage informs Moda’s style and persona for the stage, and even more so grants her to live by day as a player behind-the-scenes; in the translation of a found costumed sensibility into curated spaces - which encapsulate over ten years in Seattle’s market, drag and maker scenes.
