By recognizing and equipping artists, we can play a small part in encouraging artists to develop their voices, continue to create, and transform culture. Seattle Art Post began with the simple mission of providing exposure for Seattle area visual artists through social media. When we realized that there wasn't already a platform in place to recognize the artists (especially emerging) of our communities, we began sharing artists' work on Instagram and Twitter. We have since begun to serve our artists and communities by providing opportunities of connection, bridging the gap between artists who are looking to show their work with venues that seek to beautify their spaces and support the local arts. We are currently focused on supporting visual artists, and are always open to hearing any ideas on ways we can get involved!
