Nurturing Knowledge School

Established in 1995, Nurturing Knowledge Schools provide a holistic and innovative approach to early childhood education in Seattle. In every schoolhouse, you’ll find a ceiling-high birch tree, festooned with children’s artwork, string lights, and myriad reflections of the unique projects our students explore. Across cultures, birch represents growth, renewal, adaptability, grace, and closeness to nature ... all things we hold dear at Nurturing Knowledge School.
