Washington DECA

This year, Washington DECA partnered with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise funds for childhood cancer! We'd like to thank the fifteen chapters who hosted fundraisers for ALSF, as well as all individual donors through our Miracle Minutes and fundraisers at FLC and SCDC.

This year, we raised over $8,361, thanks to the generosity of our members! We're so grateful to help build the next generation of community-oriented leaders.

As we wrap up the DECA year, we'd like to thank each of our incredible Area Leaders for helping to make this year possible! With coordinating Area Conferences to supporting fellow advisors, we couldn't have asked for a better Area Leader team.

We also want to thank our Area Leaders for discussing lots of new and exciting upcoming changes to our programs next year at their annual meeting!

Our 2026-2027 state officers took on their first event as a team, their State Officer Leadership Training (SOLT)!

For three days, Team Horizon presented their Program of Leadership initiatives, planned activities within their mission teams, and learned about the intricacies of working within teams, how to lead engaging workshops, and advocate for CTE.

We are so excited to see what this team will accomplish in the upcoming year! 🌅

We believe that every student should have the opportunity to access the life-changing DECA experience. All funds go towards the Youth Equity Scholarship to support Washington DECA members who cannot financially afford to participate on their own.
