SEATTLE PEACE CONCERTS MISSION
The Seattle Peace Concerts were founded by Don Glenn in 1981 to promote a culture of peace and reconciliation, a goal that is more important than ever in our current troubled times. As other local music festivals become increasingly expensive, this concert series has managed to remain free and open to the public, operating with no budget and staffed only by volunteer
2025 Seattle Peace Concerts (SPC) Update
Despite the volunteer committee moving forward with marketing materials and internal planning, the process is not like it used to be. With the city instituting new music programs (good) it has made our mission more difficult. Our grandfathered permits are a fraction of the cost than bigger events which draw a larger crowd than the SPC has historically had. Therefore our SPC dates are not a priority with the city. That combined with insurance requirements make this little series nearly impossible this year.
We apologize for the delays regarding the Seattle Peace Concert Series. We’re doing all we can despite the circumstances.
We hope that we can adjust and conquer these hurdles in 2026.
In the mean time, we highly encourage you to seek local live music in your community! Support all of the wonderful and talented musicians we have here in the Pacific Northwest!
Thank you,
The Seattle Peace Concert Committee
