Invisible Invisibility Potion
Try this on your players. A bottle that looks empty, but is actually an invisible invisibility potion! Trick is to get them curious to try it-have a label, sloshing sounds, or other hint.

I have one Paladin human in my group that carries around a lantern whereas everyone else in the party has dark vision from racial traits.
I decided to make a special magical item for them so they can see the world with the rest of the party and provide a few extra perks in addition!
