Happy Earth Day! 🌎
Did you know salmon are a key part of a healthy ecosystem—and they need our help?
Here are 4 simple actions YOU can take to protect salmon and our environment:
1️⃣ Plant Native Plants – Native plants support local wildlife and reduce the need for pesticides and fertilizers that harm waterways.
2️⃣ Use Public Transportation – Fewer car trips mean less pollution washing into salmon streams. Walk, bike, bus, or carpool! 🚶♀️🚴♂️🚌
3️⃣ Scoop the P**p – Pet waste carries harmful bacteria that can wash into streams and the Puget Sound, polluting salmon habitats.
4️⃣ Share Your Knowledge – Educating others helps build a community that understands and protects salmon and clean water.
Every action adds up. Protect salmon, protect our planet!
