University Branch of The Seattle Public Library.
Join us for our 1-year celebration!🥳 As usual we will have music, readings, and this month we will host an engaging conversation on how to better harness meditation in your life!
This event will feature a talk from Andy Hafenbrack, Associate Professor of Management & Organization at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle.
Andy's research is primarily on mindfulness and cultural psychology. His work has focused on how meditating at work could be helpful or harmful depending on different type of tasks. The results of his research have raised fierce debates and definitely show an approach to mindfulness that highlights the scientific nuance behind this trendy state-of-mind.
Whether you are passionate about the meditation or interested in learning more about how we are building a secular community in Seattle, this event is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and make a difference together.
