Working on a redesign of rollingjackass.com. It’s a site for center bike stands—the kind for cargo bikes/bikes loaded down with kids. It keeps the heavy load upright until you start pedaling. In my user research for this project, I have discovered that the people who have a Rolling Jackass RAVE about them. That’s always fun for me, as a designer, to discover about the thing I’m designing for. It makes it easy to do a good job when people volunteer all the good stuff you need to know.

Led a successful workshop for today. I had a blast and it seems everyone felt it was a valuable experience. In fact, “Sarah was very focused and knowledgeable and good at presenting the class.” There was a graphic designer there and she commented multiple times on how lovely my slides were, and how lovely Socrata training is in general. That's something I try hard at, so it's wonderful to get that affirmation. @ Austin City Hall
