This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but also one of the most meaningful. Every detail you see was done with love, preparation and care to honor the late and great Mr. Joseph O May. These moments were created in honor of my husband, What you see here is more than decor. It is intention, detail, and love brought to life..
From the black and blue color palette he requested, to the soft touches of silver and white, to the custom photo backdrop. Every piece was thoughtfully designed to create a beautiful and meaningful homegoing experience..
Yes, this was personal. Yes, this was hard. But this also showed me that I can provide this same level of care, detail, and excellence for others during one of the most important moments of their lives..
If you are looking for someone to create a beautiful, elegant, and heartfelt homegoing, memorial, or celebration of life for your loved one…
A final act of love for my husband 🤍
Unfortunately, I’ve had to add funerals to the list of services I offer. This is something I never imagined I would have to do in such a personal way, but love showed up, and I made sure everything else did too.
These videos and photos are from the homegoing service of my husband, the late and great Mr. Joseph O’May.
Before Joseph passed, he had one request. He wanted everyone dressed in light blue and black. So I honored him in every detail. The entire setup was centered around his colors. Black and blue tables, accented with touches of silver and white to bring softness and elegance into the room.
We created a beautiful photo backdrop with a photo prop of him, so family and friends could take pictures and feel close to him. Every table, every chair, every detail was placed with intention, with love, and with him in mind.
I won’t lie, this was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Planning and decorating my own husband’s homegoing while grieving him is something I can’t even fully put into words. But I wanted everything to be perfect for him, and by the grace of God, it truly was beautiful.
The love, the support, and the turnout meant everything to me and my family. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of his life.
If you or someone you know needs help creating a beautiful, respectful, and heartfelt homegoing for a loved one, I would be honored to help you during that time.
