This is a Clement Berg, Norway sterling, GUILLOCHE enamel brooch. It's measuring 1 1/2" in diameter, weighs 18 grams.
The brooch has a round shape. The background is white with fine lines detailing beneath the enamel radiating outwards and has an edge of black enamel. In the centre is a gold brightly coloured design with swirling lines and floral motif.
Stamted: 925 S, maker's mark.
The brooch has the original old style C-clip
There are a few tiny scratch on the enamel but easily tightened. I consider the condition to be very good with no other flaws that I can find.
This very rare and beautiful silver enamel brooch bears the mark of the celebrated Norwegian silversmith, Clement Berg from Oslo. His workshop operated from 1889-1920.
