Logistics can make or break you. Think through the details. Think through the impact those details will have. Try to understand how this will affect your clients. I want my clients to have a great experience so that we can build trust. Trust needs to be earned, and one of the ways that that begins is by being intentional with the logistical impact of a project.

The details matter. This little ten-by-ten addition changed the feel and function of this home so much by allowing the entire home to flow in a more efficient way. My team and I love to think through all the details of a build to make sure that important particulars are not missed. One more thing to add for my contractor buddies out there: as a contractor we need to be able to transport ourselves into the future spaces we are building. In this video I am walking through what the space will feel like and by doing that I am able to see potential issues with the design. The drawings for this place had a bunch of things we had to address in the early stages to make sure the finished product was exceptional. Sometimes we need to "slow down to speed up.”

Challenges and upsets are part of life, but they dont define us. When challengs come, because they will, how do you handle them? How we handle them is what defines us.
