Part 1 of this series covers general hardware testing procedures and their specific goals. It briefly outlines the PCB assembly process and gives examples of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), X-ray inspection (AOI), Flying Probe Tests, In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and Functional Testing (FCT, FixturFab’s specialty).
