8 years ago today, I walked into a 4th of July barbecue and met Robert — and my whole life changed. 💕

Since that day, we’ve built a beautiful life together, full of love, growth, and resilience. Our home has become our safe haven, and through every high and low, we’ve chosen each other — every single time.

So today, as we celebrate 8 years of us, we’re also excited to share the secret we’ve been keeping… 💍 we’re engaged — and we’re eloping this September!

What fears are holding you back from living your best life?

On deeper note; the biggest fear that held me back from the life I live now was; fear of failure. I was brought up in a society that deemed success in association with a corporate job and student loan debt. If you didn’t have either of these “you were lost” and “had no drive”.

Eventually I said enough was enough. That fear was what was destroying me. Instead of waiting another second; I pulled the trigger quite literally. Left my job without even so much as a plan.

Ok; now I’d be lying if I said “I have it all together” but the reality is; I never will. The journey of life is unpredictable and owning a small business is about GETTING COMFORTABLE WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE.

Which leads me to my time in NY; standing on the 101st floor; telling myself “just do the damn thing”.

Y’all my fear of height is REAL! But here I am in; standing near many people laying on this glass floor completely unphased. I knew if I just did it; I would be so damn proud. I’d conquer that fear.

You’re welcome. Thanks to my friend who documented this whole series of events I did just that - I conquered yet again another fear. And for that I am damn proud.
