The first plate featured in our Planetary Health Plate Series is from last week’s Rathskellar takeover! Our Dietician Sarah teamed up with Regional Sustainability Coordinator Elise to build this plate!
Based on the EAT Lancet Planetary Health Diet, this plate reflects how including more plant-based foods and fewer animal source foods is healthy, sustainable, and good for both people and planet.

Happy apple season! 🍎🍏
Last week our Dietitian Sarah joined Regional Sustainability Coordinator Elise for an apple tasting to highlight a local orchard, in Clifton Park, NY! The apple varieties we sampled included Snapdragon, Pink Lady, Granby Smith, Macoun, and Honey Crisp.
We had a lot of fun tasting and comparing apples! Pink Lady and Snapdragon apples were crowd favorites. You can find local apples in the C-store!
