We’re proud to help keep Our World Montessori in our community with a new home in Niskayuna, marking the town’s first newly constructed childcare facility in more than 20 years.

Getting here took more than a shovel in the ground. It required collaboration at every level from finding the right site, to securing funding and approvals, to moving construction forward on an ambitious timeline.

We are grateful to Governor Kathy Hochul, Empire State Development, Schenectady County, Schenectady Metroplex, Town of Niskayuna, and all of the partners who helped make this important project possible.

Our World Montessori finds new home, stays in Niskayuna Our World Montessori is moving to a new location in Niskayuna, offering improved facilities and outdoor space while staying committed to serving families in Schenectady County.

We’re excited to welcome in Downtown Schenectady! This rapidly expanding, brand has grown from a college startup at the University of Pennsylvania into a national late-night bakery powerhouse with over 275 locations across the country.

Their decision to invest in Downtown Schenectady highlights the continued growth and appeal of our vibrant urban core. We look forward to the added energy, foot traffic, and flavor they’ll bring to our business district.
