When Lisa & Lisa discovered that staggering statistic and how little time some animals are given at some shelters, they knew they had to do something about it. Today we are living the old adage, “no good deed goes unpunished”
We took in two owner surrenders this past week, Ruby and Baby. Ruby has started on her new journey, and today she saw our vet for a check up. What they found was not good.
Ruby has dental disease, joint problem in one knee, she’s got quite a few lumps and bumps and hadn’t seen a vet since 2021 😳
So, since NONE of this was disclosed to me before we took her on, we were not prepared for this. So, today we authorized bloodwork (she’s peeing all over the house) rabies, vaccines and meds for her joint pain. Total $800.
Coming to our followers to beg for donations. I know I know, it always seems like we’re begging for money, but Ruby deserves to be cared for properly, and her new life starts today.
