We are a licensed nonprofit organization. We provide care on a small scale to homeless animals with treatable injuries or illnesses, as well as seniors, usually from within the regional shelter system, who would otherwise be euthanized. Additional priorities include facilitation of animal transfers and transports (from high kill/poor live release rate facilities to facilities and rescues with very

No idea how it happened, but this little buddy broke his toes. He was picked up by an animal control officer. This is Habanero, and he's in a good foster home now so he can heal and also learn how to not be spicy.

This gentleman was found downtown, injured and alone outside. He has a badly fractured right femur and pelvis. He is ambulatory with the other leg, and is able to get in and out of a litter box. Seeking a foster home for his crate rest period (around a month). He is vaccinated and FIV/FeLV negative.

FOSTER FOUND
Best case scenario someone used an antiseptic wound spray for livestock (Blu-Kote) on this cat, worst case scenario she was a bait cat used in dog fighting. She doesn’t have any wounds.
She’s out of animal control tonight and I am looking for a foster where she can recover. Her name is Magnolia and she’s very friendly. She’s very thin and around a year old. She’s been vaccinated and is FIV/FeLV negative. Please contact me if you have a small room or bathroom where this nice cat can experience something positive from a human being for a change.

Many of you may remember a cat named Daniel, who was pulled from animal control on March 24 in pretty bad shape. Well, he’s doing great now thanks to his fantastic foster home, and is available for adoption! Dan is a young adult, neutered, current on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped. Here’s his bio from his foster mom:

"Daniel aka “Dan the Man” is a terrific little kitty companion who has not let his rough start in life deter him from becoming a loving little guy. The struggles of his previous life on the street can still be seen in his one floppy ear and droopy eyelid, but these do not detract from his beautiful fur pattern and light green eyes.

Dan is a social kitty who will greet you at the door to wrap his arms around your legs, loves to climb in a lap, and lives for chin and ear scratches. He likes to be brushed and will not hesitate to climb up on one of his humans and begin cleaning his whiskers. He loves to look out the window and playing with toys. He has remained calm when meeting his foster family’s other cats, even when they did not remain calm with him.

Dan does have some quirks worth noting as well. He uses the litter box very well and has never had an accident with his foster family, but he is not skilled at covering his litter box deposits with litter and he often exits the box by leaping out, which can lead to some litter on the floor outside of the box. He is also a messy eater, which a mat or towel placed under his bowl would help with.

Dan does seem to have some hearing loss; loud noises do not startle him. He does sometimes jump a bit when touched if he did not know you were in the room. Then he relaxes and leans in to request a good scratch on the ears!

Overall, Dan would make a terrific companion to an individual or family and would probably do best in a slower-paced environment."
