Of Moroccan Berber heritage, textiles and weavings were a part of Karim’s early life and laid the foundation for the creation of Santa Kilim. His appreciation of Moroccan arts began his foray into the tribal arts of Central Asia, Anatolia, Persia, and the Caucasus; the diverse collection at Santa Kilim now includes old and new hand-woven textiles, kilims and carpets from all of these regions. The mission of Santa Kilim is to introduce the beauty of ancient workmanship into daily lives and contemporary homes. The work of the family-run business has been a journey of learning and discovery, a continuous hunt for treasures, and a great pleasure of collaboration with our clients.
