DON'T MISS OUT—Santa Fe Workshops collection of free online events, Creativity Continues, features a conversation featuring artist Jennifer Greenburg and art curator Anne Kelly. In this program, Jennifer and Anne trace the evolution of Greenburg’s practice from her series "Revising History" to her most recent project, "Constructed Portraits: Make Her More Beautiful". Throughout her career, Jennifer has examined the construction of identity and beauty through staged photography, advanced Photoshop techniques, and meticulous set-building. Her earlier work revisits and satirically reinterprets mid-century visual narratives, questioning the authority and authenticity often associated with historical images.

Together, Jennifer and Anne consider how photography has continually adapted to technological change from darkroom manipulation to digital editing and now artificial intelligence. They invite the audience to reflect on what is gained, challenged, and reimagined as artists navigate new tools while remaining deeply engaged with photography’s history.

The program concludes with an opportunity for audience Q&A.

DON'T MISS OUT—This new, online, process-based workshop led by artist and educator Cali M Banks centers on hands-on experimentation and attentive making with Polaroid emulsion transfers—where touch, time, and material sensitivity guide the image as much as intention.

Here's what you'll learn:
+ How to separate the emulsion (light sensitive layer within Polaroid film) and transfer it onto new surfaces
+ How temperature, pacing, pressure, and surface choice can influence the transfer process
+ Subtle interventions such as tearing, folding, and reassembling
+ Reflections on how physical transformation alters authorship, memory, and narrative within photographic practice

By the end of the workshop, you leave with a deeper understanding of emulsion transfer as both a technical process and a conceptual tool, along with a body of experimental work rooted in curiosity, touch, and material engagement.
