Woolfson Eye Institute, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Sandy Springs, is one of the leading LASIK surgery providers in the Southeast. This is because Dr. Jonathan Woolfson, a LASIK pioneer, along with the other LASIK surgeons in the practice have combined to perform well over 100,000 LASIK procedures. In fact, over 300 eye doctors have entrusted Dr. Woolfson himself with their own LASIK surg

Last month, we hosted our first annual Woolf on the Run in Knoxville 🏃

Held at Victor Ashe Park on 4/25/26, the event brought together our community for an incredible cause, with proceeds benefiting the Tennessee School for the Blind in Nashville.

It was a howlin’ good time supporting a mission close to our hearts, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to run, walk, cheer, and make a difference.

Events like this are a reminder that better vision truly leads to a better life, not just inside our offices, but throughout the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first year so special. We can’t wait to continue growing this event for years to come!

Moments like this are why we do what we do 💜🥹

Your wedding day is something you plan for, dream about, and never want to miss a single second of. To be able to see it clearly… the people, the details, the emotion… exactly as it’s happening.

Hearing Molly say she was able to fully enjoy her wedding day with two good eyes is everything to us!! Because better vision means being able to be fully present for the moments that matter most.

Do you have a big day coming up? We would love to see you for a consultation.

FAQ: Can LASIK fix astigmatism?

Watch this reel by Dr. Woolfson as he breaks down one of the most common questions we get.

Astigmatism simply means there’s a slight irregular shape to the surface of the eye, which causes blurred vision.

In the vast majority of cases, the answer is yes, LASIK can correct it.

There are some rare situations where it may not be fully correctable or may be related to another eye condition, but that’s exactly why a personalized evaluation matters.

If you’ve been told you have astigmatism and have been hesitant to consider LASIK because of it, we encourage you to take the next step.
